Kelly served time in prison more than 20 years ago for armed robbery. Says his life has changed a lot since then. He has a son and daughter with whom he keeps in touch regularly.

When asked about his tattoos, Kelly says them are symbols of demons and Satan, things he related to in his criminal past. He says his behaviour and actions in the past will affect him for the rest of his life. Kelly says people always ask him about his tattoos and the best thing for him to do is be honest about his past and acknowledge it and focus on his future. He is currently on government assistance because he has an issue with the left valve in his heart. He hopes to be back at work once he’s had his surgery.
