Kimmie participated in Help Portrait 2015 after her mother recommended it to take her mind off her past and focus on the positive. Dec. 5, 2015, marks her first anniversary with her fiance and is also the first anniversary of the day she lost her daughter to SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). Kimmie has four beautiful children. Asked her favourite thing about her kids, she said: “They always focus on the positive rather than the negative.” Kimmie sys her family is what makes Edmonton home and what keeps her looking at the positives in life.
